Our approach
We work with clients to increase business value from sustainability. We partner with organisations to tackle industry wide challenges, and refer to trusted organisations for areas outside of our experience.
how…
Through understanding your business model opportunities, collaborating on digital innovations or working with you to develop an effective sustainability strategy, we provide a tailored solution. This includes alignment within an overall strategy (including vision, goals and targets), whilst reinforcing the need to take action.
Facilitation - either live or virtual, we can help to run workshops to get consensus or feedback on key industry or sector issues. We have led multi-stakeholder workshops in the past in order to develop approaches around: materiality; strategy development; circular economy; science based targets; embodied carbon; natural capital (and the Construction Innovation Hub’s ‘Value Toolkit’); social value and sustainability reporting, among others.
Our team are experienced in co-creating strategies with you and developing these with a focus on promoting a positive impact for your business or project.
Multi-stakeholder projects often need to include a ‘call to action’ to increase visibility and commitment from the client. We recommend the use of a Charter or Declaration in order to get stakeholder buy-in.
Every member of the team should understand the role they have in implementing your sustainability strategy and how it leads to value creation. Through experience, we have found it useful to set out the Business case for sustainability in simple steps to:
Reduce costs:
focus on efficiency to directly reduce costs and improve profitability.
Increase Margins:
this could be a combination of more collaboration, focus on efficiency, and identifying new business models.
Increase sales:
growing your market share or opening up to new markets. Increasing efforts around innovative products and services and increasing your competitive advantage.
